The BCCJ is pleased to welcome KiFor into our dynamic community. In conversation with Founder Francis Fung, we explored the motivation behind their membership and gained deeper insight into KiFor’s vital and inspiring mission.
KiFor – Connecting Companies to Purpose
'We joined the BCCJ to be part of a community that believes business can be more than just profit, and that it can be meaningful.
At KiFor, we help teams grow stronger by doing good together. Through real-world workshops, we connect employees to social issues here in Japan, like child poverty, single motherhood, and homelessness. We support the small, grassroots charities doing incredible work but often going unseen.
Over the past year, KiFor has helped raise over ¥800,000, donated 100+ laptops and 200+ food boxes, and engaged employees at companies like Microsoft, Capgemini and the Rotary Club. The model is simple; turn learning & development into shared action, and give teams a reason to care, together.
KiFor did not start with funding or a big team. It started with a belief that people want to feel proud of their work, and that companies can be part of social change in Japan.
We’re building a future where Employee Experience, CSR, and purpose come together, not just as values, but as lived experiences.
We’re so grateful to be joining the BCCJ and we’d love to hear from any members and companies interested in teaming up, sharing causes, or helping us grow this impact across Japan.'
